Abrams dropped a clue for a viral marketing campaign in the new trailer for Star
Trek Into Darkness, and it was something only the most eagle-eyed fans
going through the movie frame by frame could notice. Take a look at the
screenshot below, from about the 1:05 minute mark in the trailer.
The
obsessives over at Trek
Movie spotted it, and of course, the next step is to visit Are You The 1701,
which asked you to sign up with your e-mail address and birth date, and
promises to "tell you when the search begins”.
